Ideal Teaching Scenario:

What are you most excited about in education?

I am most excited about teaching kids so they may have a brighter future. When I was a student growing up, we were told we would never make it out of that neighborhood or that we were not smart enough to go far. I want to teach kids that no matter their background, their gender, race, sexuality, religion, they can go farther than even they can imagine.

How would your friends describe you in three words?

Caring, creative, and strong.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?

I would be an owl because they can watch over everything to make sure it is okay. They are known in many cultures as being wise and smart, while in other cultures as being sneaky and cunning. This is much like me already.

A unique fact about Caylie: 

While I am a pastor's daughter, I am also a professional entertainer. I can stilt walk, character act, do magic, dance, and sing. I am also a clown.
